StacOps

Terms of Service

Effective August 21, 2026 ยท Stacware LLC

These terms are an agreement between you and Stacware LLC ("Stacware", "we", "us"), a California limited liability company, covering your use of StacOps (the "Service"). By signing in, you agree to them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorized to do so.

1. Accounts and access

StacOps is invite-only. Accounts are created by invitation from an organization administrator, and access can be revoked by that administrator or by us. Accounts are personal: do not share your credentials, and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account, including activity performed by API keys and agents you create.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to store or transmit unlawful, infringing, or malicious content.
  • Attempt to access another organization's data, or probe, scan, or test the security of the Service without our written permission.
  • Interfere with or overload the Service, or circumvent rate limits and access controls.
  • Reverse engineer, resell, or offer the Service as your own product.
  • Upload content you do not have the right to upload.

3. Your content

You keep all rights to the content you put into StacOps. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, transmit, display, and process that content for the sole purpose of operating the Service for you. That license ends when the content is deleted, apart from backups already taken, which age out on their normal cycle.

Content entered inside an organization belongs to that organization. If you lose access to an organization, you lose access to its content.

4. Integrations you connect

StacOps can connect to third-party services such as GitHub and to MCP clients such as Claude Code. Those connections are yours to configure and revoke, and your use of them is governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for what a third-party service does with data once you direct it there, or for a connection breaking when that service changes.

5. AI features

The Service uses AI to summarize activity, draft recaps, and suggest next steps. AI output can be incomplete or wrong. It is a draft for a person to review, not advice and not a decision. Do not rely on it for legal, financial, or other professional judgments, and check anything that matters before acting on it. You are responsible for what you approve.

6. Availability

The Service is provided as it is, without an uptime commitment or service level agreement. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, and we will give reasonable notice before removing something you depend on where we can. Maintenance and outages happen.

7. Fees

The Service is currently provided without charge to invited organizations. If we introduce fees, we will give notice before they apply to you, and you may stop using the Service rather than pay them.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and ask us to close your account. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, if required by law, or if continuing would create risk for the Service or its users. On termination, your license to use the Service ends. Export any content you want to keep before closing an account; see the Privacy Policy for how long we retain it afterward.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error free, or that any data will never be lost. Keep your own backups of anything critical.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stacware is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred US dollars.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Stacware harmless from claims arising out of your content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in California, and both parties consent to that jurisdiction.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is material, we will update the effective date above and notify account administrators by email. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept it.
